Able Carter is a coach company based in the Free City of Greyhawk.
Description[edit | edit source]
The company runs regular coach routes throughout the Domain of Greyhawk, as well as up and down the Selintan River valley.[2] The Carter connects the Free City to its satellite towns via a fleet of horse-drawn coaches and an inn positioned at every leg of the journey.[3]
Though each location is different, an Able Carter Coaching Inn typically has a stable, garage, and front office, and rooms for hire above the offices. There are outbuildings and the yard is walled off, making some almost a compound.[1] In the Free City of Greyhawk, while most coaching houses are situated outside the city's walls, the Able Carters have been allowed to set up shop so near the Petit Bazaar by special compact with the Union of Merchants and Traders.[1][4] While the Able Carter isn't the only coaching house in the Domain of Greyhawk, they are considered by many to be the most powerful carriage business in Greyhawk's domain.[4]
