There are 2 main factions within the Pale. The Conservative Party is the stronger of the 2, currently. They are for the expansion of the Pale into both Tenh and Nyrond lands, as well as keeping the Pholtan Inquistion alive. The Popular Progressive Party is for stopping the Inquistion, as well as opening ourselves up to the people of other nations. They also belive that others can have a deep seated faith in Pholtus, but for the farmers and such, they can also give praise to gods of the Oerth without fear. (I need to clarify this a little more, and will discuss this further with the Triad). Ogon Tillit - Supreme Prelate, Theocrat of the Theocracy of the Pale.
Theoman Baslett the Dragon Slayer - Prelate of Landigard - head of the Conservative Party. Possible succesor to Ogon for Theocrat. He is rumored to have been the one to Resurect Ogon Tillit.
Zacktinerim - Prelate of Eltison - Conservative Party (female).
Filias Farsonal - Prelate of Hatherleigh - Conservative Party.
Andon Kavelle - Prelate of Stradsett - Conservative Party.
Elias Reddick - Prelate of Hawkburgh - Conservative Party.
Maximillian Thace - Prelate of Ogburg - head of the Popular Progressive Party. He is a Lawful Good Half-Olve. He is also a possible succesor to Ogon, however his open viewpoints and heritage are major questions.

Dorjan Oldrich - independent scout for PA & CM within the Troll Fens, and works closely with the Brilliant Castles (dwarf).
Tristan Spencer - Champion of Pholtus, a paladin who is currently on a crusade within the Troll Fens.
Jeramai Twist - known to many as the Rose of the Phostwood, she is currently the wealthiest person within the Pale and has the largest merchant empire within.
Ardaena Brightsun - from the Living Greyhawk Adaptable Module, Snake in the Grass. He is the Interim Bishop of Hatherleigh, after Bishop Albrecht Ellsran mysterously fell to his death from his 3rd story balcony (LGJ3).
Father Smete - from Holy Word - Possibly a member of the Dept. of Heroes for Wintershiven. a 55 year old gentleman, he is very knowledgeable on Palish and Pholtan history. (LN, Clr 3)
Apprentice Sebister - from Holy Word - the apprentice to Father Smete. (LN, Clr 1)
Nyrondese Forces Supported by the Pale
The Valorous League of Blindness - These zealots believe "There is now only one hope of salvation, Pholtus of the Blinding Light. Only those blinded to iniquity and its lures can hope to prevail in these terrible times. Look at how the rich live while you travail to pay their taxes; is this right? Bur this is how Nyrond is. Hence, Nyrond must be changed, and we're the men to do it, just as we are the men to root out the evil within these lands which matches the evils of Iuz and Aerdi outside." The members of TVLoB subscribe to the doctrine of Lesser Nyrond, where Northern Nyrond secedes to the Pale. Many of the followers of this sect of Pholtus worship either wear blinders or have actually put out one of their eyes, stating that "the remaining eye is quite sufficient to see the wisdom of Pholtus's teachings." Knights Valorous - These are the elite Knights of The Valorous League of Blindness. (WGR4)
Cairndrell - Actually Nyrondese, from the town of Arndulanth. He is a warrior/priest and commander of the Knights Valorous in Arndulanth. He subscribes to the Lesser Nyrond Doctrine, hoping that the northern lands of Nyrond secede and become part of the Pale. (WGR4)
Zylinchin the Fiendfinder-General of The Valorous League of Blindness - Nyrondese, who discovered the shrine to Incabulos in Midmeadow. He and a tiny band wander Nyrond seeking men and women to impale and burn at the stake for consorting with demonds. However, he also dispenses alms to the poor, as his ultimate goal is to incorporate northern Nyrond with the Pale, and thus many Nyrondese nobles have put a price on his head. (WGR4)
Grishken of Midmeadow - This 60 year old Nyrondese is a maniacal zealot and high priest of Pholtus who considers anyone who disagrees with him as a fiend worshiper. He is one of the leaders and founders of The Valorous League of Blindness. (WGR4)
