The Adventure Begins p.55 dates the beginning of the Oeridian Record calendar (1 OR) to the unification of the Oeridian barbarians to defend against imperial Baklunish forces from the south and nomadic Baklunish raiders from the north. They would not begin their migration until around the year 180 OR (-465 CY).
The Living Greyhawk Gazetteer p.23 dates it to the beginning of the Great Migrations, when the Oeridians began to move into the Flanaess to avoid being destroyed in the Baklunish and Suloise empires. However, according to the original Folio p.5, the Oerid migrations were instigated by the Baklunish-Suloise Wars, which would not occur until -485 CY, and the use of humanoid mercenaries, which would not occur until -465 CY.
LGG p.23 incorrectly dates 1 OR to "1,235 years ago", which would be -645 CY owing to the lack of a year zero in the Common Year calendar.[2] It is correctly 1,234 years ago.
