Geography

[edit | edit source]

The city is located along the Thelly River, directly to the east and downriver of Nulbish, with no major roads linking them.

Bluelode is surrounded by three walled keeps which are linked to provide protection

Government

[edit | edit source]

Prince Harnnad runs the town directly, which is unusual for such a small town. He runs the town with a tight fist, with his men constantly supervisin the panning operations, and any theft is punishable by immediate execution.

Economy

Resources

[edit | edit source]

The main resource is gemstones pulled by panning from the Thelly River with the aid of wizards using wands of metal and mineral detection.

Military

[edit | edit source]

The prince's own elite troops, the plate-clad Steel Squadron, garrison the keeps ensuring the valuable resources are protected. The garrison is also responsible for holding the children of the slaves working on the Citadel of Salt hostage as collateral.

Rumors and legends

[edit | edit source]

The keeps are rumored to contain holding cells for political prisoners who are under interrogation by a drow torturer with fine interrogation skills.
