- This article is about the magic item. For the module of the same name, see The Doomgrinder.
The Doomgrinder is a massive stone artifact located in the Cairn Hills. The edifice stands upon a plateau outcrop, overlooking a small, fertile valley. Despite the abundance of rich plant life, the ominous presence of the Doomgrinder causes nearly all creatures to avoid the area.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Doomgrinder appears to be a immense windmill, roughly eighty feet high, constructed completely of stone, sails and all. The edifice radiates both strong magic and evil. Every ten to fifty years, the sails of the Doomgrinder move one degree, an event usually accompanied by a fierce lighting storm.
Powers[edit | edit source]
Unknown. Feared to foretell or cause the destruction of Oerth.
