Eastfair is the capital of the Great Kingdom of Northern Aerdy and also the seat of the Principality of Eastfair. It is near the headwaters of the Flanmi River, just to the northeast of the Adri Forest. It is called the "Granite City" and is swimming with wealth, but also awash in vices.[2]
History
[edit | edit source]The city was founded in 80 CY as a walled city. During the third century CY, however, the city went through a period of rapid expansion, which led to a massive amount of building outside the walls. By 585 CY, the outer area is well-established and is called New Town, as opposed to Old Town which was inside the original walls [3].
Traditionally, the city fell near the end of the Windmarch and hosted a massive Brewfest celebration, which was infamous for its debauchery [2]. When King Xavener restarted the Windmarch after the Greyhawk Wars, it no longer went to Eastfair, or to any towns in North Kingdom [4].

[edit | edit source]Eastfair stands at a population of 29,100 in 576 CY.[5][6]
In 585 CY, it is 31,000 along with 3,000 humanoids,[7] which is slightly larger because refugees seek a more stable place to live during the Greyhawk Wars.[2] Prominent among the citizens are exceptionally skilled craftsmen, but also wealthy merchants, most of whom live in the New City.[2]
