Ellival Moon meadow is a minor noble from Celene living in Diamond Lake.

Description[edit]

"Ellival Moonmeadow is a minor noble from the exotic and distant elven kingdom of Celene, a land so fabled it might as well be imaginary as far as most residents of Diamond Lake are concerned."[1]

Ellival as known as “The Prince” to those who frequent Lazare's gambling parlor.

Ellival is blonde, handsome, and keeps himself very well-dressed.[2]

Personality[edit]

Moonmeadow is somewhat reclusive, and aloof. He only associates with other elves (other than dragonchess opponents). Even half-elves "don't quite qualify".[3] He prefers to ignore the affairs of the human mine managers and views his silver mining operation (a local monopoly) as more civilized; and theirs more vulgar.

The hook, given in the Age of Worms Overload to exemplify Moonmeadow's personality is, “Back to work, you sluggards. Do I have to play you a song?”, which references his Bardic Music ability and/or, presumably, his charm spells.

Abilities[edit]

Str 10, Dex 15, Con 12, Int 12, Wis 8, Cha 16

Possessions[edit]

Ellival is known to own and carry a very intricately sculpted and delicately inlaid rapier (masterwork weapon [weapon of quality]).

His estate is a large manor house with a meditation garden and an ostentation (a large group) of peacocks. He also has a mated pair of cooshees (elven dogs) named Kanemar ("Honorable Eagle"} and Tatae ("Beloved Fox"). There is a private dock on the property where a swift, swan-decorated boat.

Activities[edit]

Ellival is occasionally seen around town in Diamond Lake, venturing to Lazare´s House to play dragonchess. Otherwise, he is not in the public's eye.[2]

Relationships[edit]

Moonmeadow is most often accompanied his retinue, a companion-guard of six elven men and women who are all well-trained. (FTR3)[2] They are not only his protectors, but also his confidantes. They are all much younger than Moonmeadow, and engage with the populace of Diamond Lake more than Moonmeadow.[2] His lieutenants, in turn, have assistants of their own.

History[edit]

Rumors and legends[edit]

There is much speculation why "The Prince" no longer lives in Celene (realm).

Ellival Moonmeadow only ever appeared in Age of Worms-related products, specifically in Diamond Lake. He has not been used after the outset of the adventure series.
