Gzemnid is the beholder deity of Gases, Fogs, Obscurement, and Deception.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Gzemnid is an elusive creature, rumoured to have excellent command over illusionary magic, especially spells dealing with obscurement or area distortion. He is also known as "the gas giant" on account of his aptitude towards spells of elemental air.

Gzemnid is less aggressive and more calculating than his mother and superior, the Great Mother, and therefore less prone to violent reactions.

Relationships

[edit | edit source]

Gzemnid is a child of the Great Mother, and the only one of her offspring known to have reached deity status.

Realm

[edit | edit source]

Gzemnid's Realm can be found on the plane of the Outlands.

A portal from Maanzecorian's realm of Rictus on Gehenna led to Chariamur, an old open-pit mine located between the realms of Ilsensine and Gzemnid where servants of Maanzecorian would come to spy on Ilsensine.
