Eschen County is in the eastern part of the Duchy of Urnst bordered on the north by the Savode County and the south by the Bessen River, and stretches from the hills of Upper Eschen County in the west to Palten County in the east.

- The Oars of Eschen, a Pinnacle class ship in the Ducal Navy was named after the county and is stationed in Leukish.[3]
