Pelleur Keep is a stone keep in the Kingdom of Nyrond on the edge of the Flinty Hills.
Geography
[edit | edit source]Pelleur Keep is located at the edge of the Flinty Hills, opposite the Bone March.[1]
History
[edit | edit source]In Spring 585 CY the keep was a weakness in Nyrond's defensive line, after being abandoned due to monsters (including xorn, wyverns, hook horrors and even a group of rare spriggan) repeatedly emerging from the nearby hills and attacking the garrison causing serious casualties. The defensive line of aptrols was withdrawn 3 miles from the keep, with much equipment abandoned in the keep. Magical causes of the attacks were suspected when the attacks rarely advanced to the new line.[1]
