Purpose of "Nations Through the Ages"

Hey, so, I saw PlagueBearer's comment in the most recent edit summary, so I thought I would make a note or three:

"I'm not sure of the intent of this orphan as I was looking for a way to link it. I did fix a few typos and added links."

First, working on orphaned pages is a great thing!

But also ... so, this page was originally made around the time the Great Library of Greyhawk began with a new host (GreyhawkOnline). Because the previous host had been permanently offline for years, another fan had started the Greyhawk Fandom Wiki on Fandom.com. Anyway, we tried to import as many of those edits as we could, citing their history being from Fandom.

I'm not positive what the original contributor (Kenneth the Sage) intented, but honestly, I don't think this page is a bad idea ... it's often confusing to figure out what nation was formed when, and which ones broke apart, and which nation used to be part of which empire, etc. Granted, all the information is there on various nations' articles individually, or buried somewhere in the main Timeline. But, especially for new fans, it can be daunting to figure out piecemeal on their own.

I just don't know how to implement it, or how to continue expanding it.—--Abra Saghast (talk) 10:10, 28 November 2025 (EST)
