This Template is used to place a banner at the top of a page (as above) indicating the content is from the Legends of Greyhawk organized play campaign which isn't used in official content for other campaigns or eras, in most cases.

Description

[edit source]

Legends of Greyhawk content is typically created by various authors for WotC through Baldman Games (their official designee) and distributed by WotC. Though authorized for use by Wizards of the Coast, it is not "official" content, in that it is specific only to the campaign.

Various sources of LoG content which may be used for citations on content in articles using this template (in addition to core rulebooks) include:

  • legendsofgreyhawk.com—all information from the site
  • Rules updates published on DnDBeyond.com for the LoG campaign
  • Adventures published on DnDBeyond.com from Legends of Greyhawk (with the official LoG branding on them).
  • Adventure information or summaries based on gameplay, from official citable sources
  • Convention pages detailing official dates or adventure descriptions
  • Official social media accounts/posts including infographics, interviews, rules clarifications, announcements, etc. from Premier Organizers (BMG, WCAG, GameConclave, etc.) or their designees (campaign staff, lead designers, directors, etc.)

Sources not included in this Template

[edit source]

Some content published by the IP holder, in print or published on Wizards.com, does not necessitate use of this template. While they may be additionally used for the Legends of Greyhawk campaign, the following sources are generally considered to hold position as officially published material for the setting, and are not considered LoG-specific.

  • Dungeon Master's Guide (2024)
  • Player's Handbook (2024)
  • Monstrous Manual (2025)

All articles using this Template should be created in the LoG: namespace (by appending the prefix before the article name). For example: LoG:Turtleback Cove, LoG:Brinejacks, or LoG:Hommlet.

Use this template only if an entire page is primarily LoG content. Otherwise, use {{LoGsection}}.

Place the template as the first line of the page.

{{LoGpage}}

Produces this banner at the top of the page.
