The Crossing is a fortified, large town in the Duchy of Urnst.[1]
Description
[edit | edit source]The Crossing is a large town some 30 miles south of Leukish in Seren County. The buildings of the town are all constructed out of the same greyish brown bricks.
Geography
[edit | edit source]The Crossing lies along the Lower Lukala River.[2]
Notable locations
[edit | edit source]- Brickworks—Armeth Garmot (male human Com5) and 20 workers produce the greyish brown bricks that the buildings of The Crossing are known for.[3]
- The Emporium—General store run by Havershak Haymaker (male gnome Rog5/Ill2), though House Burlondin own it.[3]
- Gaebech's Boatbuilding and Shipwrights—one of the largest keelboat makers in Lower Lukala River. Operated by Wilfrick Thalferus (male human Exp9) on behalf of House Gaebech.[3]
- The Large Mill—is actually a series of 3 windmills operated by Miller Cior Somane (male human Exp4).[3]
- The Riverman's Inn—local inn owned by Vapus (male human Com5) and Osmoa Morlot (female human Clr4 of Wenta)[3]
- Sign of Forge and Hammer—Metalsmithy run by Murish Blarr (female dwarf Ftr3/Exp4) and leads a crew of 10 dwarven metalsmiths. [3]
Government
