It is designed for first edition, but can be played with second edition rules or converted to fourth edition using the conversion notes provided in the adventure.

"The Slave Lords are dead, yet one survives! Journey to a remote monastery to end the vile threat once and for all. This 1st Edition AD&D® adventure for characters of level 6-9 can be run as a stand alone scenario or as a sequel to the classic "A" series adventures. It also includes fourth edition conversion notes."

  • Jim Nelson: 'Geoffrey, Anilda and Mordrammo'(p.44)

Characters

[edit | edit source]
  • Anilda(p.42-43), a 'human monk' (secretly a succubus).
  • Earth Dragon(p.31), described as a 'Flan Spirit God'
  • Feetla(p.32). This also confirms Feetla as the chief Slave lord and named 'Feetla' rather than Eanwulf as in A1-4.
  • Geoffry(p.33,42), a Scarlet Brotherhood Wizard.
  • Brother Milerjoi(p.32), a high ranking Scarlet Brotherhood monk.
  • Selzen Murtano(p.32), an agent of good who helped the PCs previously in A3 and A4.
  • Stalman Klim(p.31-33, 46). The adventure also explains the confusion between Mordrammo, as he is named in A3, and Stalman Klim, as he is named in A4, with Mordrammo being a title that means 'I am Death'(p.32)
