Bio
[edit | edit source]Hello everyone! I’m an Italian Dungeon Master. I’ve been playing D&D since 2005, and I’ve been running Greyhawk since 2008.
I first discovered Greyhawk in high school. Back then I was basically broke, so I was looking for a solid (and affordable) fantasy setting to dive into as a new DM. I bought one of the few Greyhawk products ever translated into Italian—the 3rd Edition Gazetteer—and that small book opened the door to what I still consider the oldest and greatest D&D setting. As my English improved, I kept digging deeper into the lore, and in 2011 I founded the Italian Greyhawk Wiki.
In 2008 I began DMing my first Greyhawk campaign, and the Chronicles of the Flanaess were born: a saga spanning three campaigns from 2008 to 2013, culminating in the defeat of Vecna and the end of magic on Oerth. After that I ran a few more Greyhawk campaigns—one based on the Slavers and Drow modules, and one on The Ruins of Castle Greyhawk. Last year I returned to the Chronicles of the Flanaess, and I’m currently DMing a new campaign set in that same timeline.

Omega has been a contributor to the Great Library of Greyhawk wiki going all the way back to '09. He created many new pages in his early editing days in '09 and '10, and consintued through '14 occassionally but consistently helping make the wiki a better resource. Life got busy for a while, and he took a break from editing.
In 2019, Omega took up a big effort to do a many editors find difficult or tedious. He largely worked on adding categories, wikllinks, images, and somewhat background things that make the wiki work better, have greater functionality, and just overall be a more productive tool! Later, he continued working on fixing links, updating References formats, Template formats, and uploading newer verions of images!
Thanks again, Omega, for the consistent, quality volunteer editing you've done on the Great Library of Greyhawk wiki! —Abra Saghast (talk) 11:28, 4 January 2025 (EST)
