The Wheel of Gold gambling hall is directly owned by the Lord Mayor of the Free City, Nerof Gasgal. Aside from the extraordinary income, he uses it as a means to keep tabs on the goings-on in the city, as many well-to-do merchants, shop-keeps or even nobles frequent the establishment. The vast fortunes regularly won and lost here also bring in less reputable sorts, such as cut-purses and courtesans looking to win a small fortune of their own.[1]
It is designated "H5"[2] on older labelled maps of the city, or as "H3"[3] on newer ones (because the Garden and High Quarters were re-numbered).
